About Jasper
Jasper is an AKC Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and everything a Cavalier should be. He is happy, sweet, affectionate, calm, and still has plenty of bounce in his step. He easily jumps onto the bed and couch and spends much of his day lounging near his people.
His favorite job is being a lap warmer, something that comes naturally from a long line of successful lap warmers. Jasper also enjoys exploring the farm and following bunny trails with his nose. Even when he finds a bunny, he usually loses interest quickly and heads back to his person for attention and cuddles.
Jasper is low energy with medium low drive. He is equally happy working for treats or praise and has no known food, sound, or environmental sensitivities.
Temperament and Therapy Work
Jasper lives in a guardian home with an RN and regularly accompanies her to an assisted living facility. He is also a favorite member of the local church book club.
His calm, affectionate temperament makes him naturally suited for therapy work. Jasper loves people and has brought comfort and companionship to many of the people he meets.
